DRIFF DAY 1
About the Centennial Building:
The Centennial Building was built in the 1850s as the Ontario County Courthouse. It served as a trial court and meeting place for County Council from 1854 to 1964. The building was turned into a community theatre through the Canadian Centennial Project in 1967. It underwent renovations in 2002 to house a banquet facility and hosts a beautiful theatre. The Centennial Building was designated a heritage building in 1979 and notable for its Doric columns, designed to resemble the Parthenon in Athens, Greece.
